PURPOSE: To reduce a working time to a rolling roll by using visible light curing type photosensitive resin which is cured by the irradiation with light in the visible region.
CONSTITUTION: First, the visible light curing type photosensitive resin composition 4 is supplied from a hopper 3 installed on the upper part of a photosensitive resin composition feeder 6 to a composition feeder 6 to form a photosensitive resin composition layer 7 as it is adjusted by the air 5 from the rear to a prescribed thickness. Then, the composition layer 7 is irradiated intermittently with a specified regular pitch of laser beam 9 having a wave length of visible region outputted from a laser beam source 8 to be cured. Continuously, when detergent 14 is sprayed by a sprayer 13 on the surface of the treated roll, an uncured part other than the resin composition cured part 12 is cleaned and the roll surface 15 is exposed. Thereafter, etching is carried out by chemical etching etc., to form recessed parts and a regular uneven pattern.
