Abstract:
To provide a pharmaceutical composition for treating cognitive impairment or improving the cognitive function in a patient suffering from or at risk of cognitive impairment associated with a CNS disorder.SOLUTION: The composition comprises a synaptic vesicle protein 2A (SV2A) inhibitor or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate, solvate, polymorph or prodrug thereof, and an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor (AChEI) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate, solvate, or polymorph or prodrug thereof, where the SV2A inhibitor or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate, solvate, polymorph or prodrug thereof is in an extended release form.SELECTED DRAWING: None
