Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of producing a rocker pressure piece (1, 1') of a chain rocker joint for a flat link chain (19), especially a CVT chain, according to which a shaped wire (2) is cambered along at least one defined section in the longitudinal direction and is then separated in this section. The invention also relates to an embossing device (3) for producing a rocker pressure piece (1, 1') of a chain rocker joint from a shaped wire. Said device comprises a housing (5, 6) having a lower housing half (5) as the female mold and an upper housing half (6) for guiding at least one forming die for embossing the shaped wire. The invention also relates to a rocker pressure piece (1, 1'), on which the rolling surface (15, 15') is cambered.
