Abstract:
The method involves using a laser beam (12) and/or a processing agent to treat the side walls of the die. The side walls (15) are treated over the entire depth or part of the depth of the die and/or over the entire circumference or part of the circumference of the die. Independent claim describes device with laser processing device (13) and control unit which controls the latter or controls a supply device for the processing agent. The processing agent can be a particle jet and/or etching agent and/or has dry ice.
