Abstract:
The method involves essentially compensating for the non-linearity of the amplifier (6) with a pre-error correction unit (2) for data values of an input data stream (1). The amplifier is operated with a supply voltage selected so the amplifier operates in the linear region at least at the start of transmission or following a significant change in an operating parameter. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a device for operating transmission amplifier.
