Abstract:
The method involves utilizing a wheel (3) with a wheel rim (4), a tire (5) and a safety support (6) equipped with an information medium (7, 8, 9). The wheel is introduced to a tire mounting/dismounting machine (2) to effect desired processing under a control of a microprocessor (17). The machine is regulated based on useful data supplied by the medium and mounting/demounting operation of the tire is executed. An independent claim is also included for a device for mounting/demounting a wheel tire.
