Abstract:
To enable the stable operation of a diesel engine for a long period in the case of utilizing waste edible oil as fuel, without performing its esterification treatment.
This method for utilizing the waste edible oil as the fuel is provided by mixing the waste edible oil with a fuel oil in a mixing cell 7, heating the obtained mixed oil at 50-120°C in a heating device 12 for accelerating the oxidation and polymerization of unsaturated fatty acids by elevating temperature, introducing the temperature-elevated mixed oil into a filter unit for filtering so as to remove impurities containing polymer-formed substances and feeding the mixed oil after filtration as the fuel 11 to the diesel engine 13.
