Abstract:
To provide methods of improving accuracy of disease diagnosis and associated diagnostic tests involving a correlation of measured analytes with binary outcomes.SOLUTION: A computer-implemented method of diagnosing a disease is provided, comprising steps of: determining concentration of at least three biomarkers in a blind sample collected from a subject; selecting one or more meta-variables associated with the subject; transforming the concentration of the biomarkers as a function of one or more population distribution characteristics and the one or more meta-variables to compute pseudo-concentration representing each biomarker; comparing the pseudo-concentration with a training set model of pseudo-concentration determined for members of population who are known either to have or not have the disease; and determining whether the comparison indicates that the subject has the disease.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
