To provide a method for preventing or treating urological chronic pelvic pain syndrome (UCPPS) in a subject.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for preventing or treating urological chronic pelvic pain syndrome (UCPPS) in a subject that includes administering an effective amount of cerium oxide nanoparticles (CeNPs) to the subject.
