Abstract:
To provide methods for recovering human VH3 domain-containing antibodies in monomeric form, in particular novel methods enabling recovery of monomeric human VH3 domain-containing antibodies from a mixture containing antibodies in both monomeric and multimeric forms.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for obtaining a human VH3 domain-containing antibody in monomer form, the method comprising the steps of: a) applying a mixture of human VH3 domain-containing antibodies in monomer and multimer forms to a protein A chromatography material where the protein A comprises domain D and/or domain E, under conditions that allow binding of antibodies to protein A; and b) recovering the human VH3 domain-containing antibodies in monomeric form where the human VH3 domain-containing antibody does not contain Fc region.SELECTED DRAWING: None
