Abstract:
To provide methods for treating diseases associated with Group 3 innate lymphoid cells (ILC3).SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for increasing the production of IL-22 by ILC3, which comprises contacting ILC3 with an agonist of the rearranged-during-transfection (RET) in an amount effective to increase the production of IL-22 by ILC3, where the agonist of RET comprises: (1) a combination of a soluble GDNF family-binding receptor alpha (GFRα) and GFRα ligand (GFL) or an analog or mimetic thereof; or (2) an antibody that specifically binds to RET and increases RET tyrosine kinase activity or an antigen-binding fragment thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: None
