Abstract:

The present invention relates to new 6- or 7-methylen-1,2 beta -cyclopropanoandrost-4-ene-3,17-diones of the following formula wherein R is hydrogen or fluorine; one of R1 and R2 is =CH2 and the other is hydrogen or C1-C4-alkyl, and, when R2 is =CH2, at least one of R and R1 is other than hydrogen, which are useful in therapy, in particular as anti-cancer agents.
