Abstract:
To provide a curing agent (crosslinking agent) which can be used for producing a cured product being satisfactory in both mechanical characteristics and heat resistance of, a resin composition and a resin cured product.
The resin composition comprises (a) a phenolic hydroxy group-containing resin and (b) a methylol phenol compound represented by general formula (I) (wherein R1-R4 are each independently a hydrogen atom or a monofunctional organic group; X is a 1-20C alkylene chain; m and n are each a positive number of 1 to 4; p is an integer of 0 to 4-m; and q is an integer f 0 to 4-n).
