Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric transducer consisting of a sintered body of a MgSi-based polycrystalline body which is a material with low environmental burden, high in antioxidation resistance and high in strength after a heat treatment.SOLUTION: There is provided a sintered body of a MgSiSnAa Bb Znc polycrystalline body in which at least one kind of element of transition metal B and/or silicide of the transition metal B, selected from Sc, Ti, V, Y, Zr, Nb, Mo, Hf, Ta, W is dispersed in MgSiSnwhich is doped by at least one kind of dopant A selected from Sb, P, Bi, Al, where x is 0 to 1, a is the content of the dopant A and is 0.01 to 5 at.%, b is the content of the transition metal B and is 0.01 to 5 at.% and c is the content of Zn and is 0.01 to 5 at.%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
