PURPOSE: To effect the pulsating power generation of a set frequency with high output and high efficiency by a method wherein air, compressed by an air compressor, is sent into a combustion chamber through a pulsating valve, opened and closed with a set frequency, to effect combustion.
CONSTITUTION: High-temperature and high-pressure air in an air preheating unit 9 is jetted into a combustion chamber 1 intermittently with a set frequency by a pulsating valve 21 opened/closed by a valve driving device 29 connected to the power source of a set frequency such as a commercial frequency or the like and consisting of a synchronous motor and the like. On the other hand, fuel is injected from a fuel injection device 4 in synchronism with the injection of the air whereby mixture is formed in the combustion chamber 1. Simultaneously, an ignition device 5 is operated in synchronism with the injection of the fuel to ignite it whereby mixture is burnt explosively and combustion gas passes through a nozzle 17 with a high speed and is exhausted. The combustion gas is changed into plasma because of a high temperature and traverses magnetic flux at a high speed when passing through the nozzle 17 whereby an electromotive force is generated in an electrode 3.
