Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of prism column bodies under the condition where wavenumber resolution or wavelength resolution (high resolution) is maintained, so as to minimize time and labor for manufacturing.
SOLUTION: This Michelson interferometer 10 is provided with a beam splitter 6 for splitting a light beam, a beam transmitting film 7 provided adjacently to a coplanar position of the beam splitter, a first prism column body 1 and a second prism column body 2 provided on both sides of the beam transmitting film and the beam splitter, a third prism column body 3 provided in a position faced to the same side adjacent planes in both prism column bodies via a refractive index matching means 8, and a first corner cube 4 and a second corner cube 5 provided respectively on the other side planes of the third prism column body.
