Abstract:

To obtain a micro-autoagglutinin having a unique supermolecular structure by preparing the micro-autoagglutinin by using oligosaccharide as a saccharide.

There is provided a micro-autoagglutinin which is formed of O-glycoside glycolipid and has a structure represented by following general formula, where G represents an oligosaccharide residue obtained by bonding 2 to 30 monosaccharides, and R a hydrocarbon radial having carbon numbers between 6 to 25. The micro-autoagglutinin is available in the form of a micro- double-helical fiber aggregate, a microhelical disk aggregate, a microtube aggregate, and a microfiber aggregate.
