To provide a simple micro-movement detector of high accuracy.
This micro-movement detector E is provided with a main station 10 installed in a ranging reference point P and for measuring a moving distance of ranging object T by detecting a phase shift generated by a delay in the reflected waves of a projected wave X that is returned, after being reflected on the ranging object T, as to the projected wave X having a microwaves of a wavelength transmitted from the ranging reference point P to the ranging object T; and a relay station 20 for receiving the projected wave X as a reflecting means, arranged on the ranging object T to be transmitted back to the main station 10, after being amplified. The main station 10 in the micro-movement detector E is provided with a control means, capable of controlling timing to observe the phase shift by a continuous operation or intermittent operation, and a storage means capable of continuously or intermittently recording the observed result of the phase shift by the control of the control means.
