PURPOSE: To enable a uniform heating characteristic to be attained even if a micro-wave heating of an object to be heated is carried out under its non- rotated condition, enable a menu to be set not only for a heating time but also in respect to rotation/non-rotation of a turn table at to make the operation of a micro-wave oven convenient and simple.

CONSTITUTION: An object 30 to be heated is mounted on a turn table 21 to be rotated by a turn table motor TM. When a micro-wave generated by a magnetron 6 is fed to a heating chamber 16 through a wave guide 22, the microwave is agitated by a microwave stirling means 23 and fed. The heating time corresponding to the menu and data of rotation/non-rotation of the turn table 21 are stored in an EEPROM 9. As a corresponding numerical key 11 of the menu is operated from an operation panel 7, a microcomputer 8 retrieves the corresponding data from the EEPROM 9, drives the magnetron 6 under a stopped condition of the turn table motor TM as required and performs a micro- wave heating under a stand still condition.
