Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing microalgae and a data analyzing apparatus capable of harvesting Nannochloropsis oculata at an optimum timing.SOLUTION: The method for culturing microalgae comprises: a culturing step for culturing Nannochloropsis oculata; a measuring step for measuring a first absorbance at a first wavelength in the range of 480 to 520 nm and a second absorbance at a second wavelength in the range of 660 to 700 nm of the Nannochloropsis oculata; and a harvesting step of harvesting the Nannochloropsis oculata based on a comparison between the first absorbance and the second absorbance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
