Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a malonyl-7-aminocephalosporanic acid derivative and a 7-aminocephalosporanic acid derivative by using a microorganism.
CONSTITUTION: A cephalosporin C derivative of formula I or its soluble salt is used as a raw material to produce a malonyl-7-aminocephalosporanic acid derivative of formula II or its soluble salt. Furthermore the malonyl-7- aminocephalosporanic acid derivative is used as a raw material to produce a 7-aminocephalosporanic acid derivative of formula III. In the operation, Sphingomonas sp. FBI(DSM 7,007) is used for the production I→II and Pseudomonas sp (DSM 7,509) is used for the production II→III, respectively.
