Abstract:
The present invention provides a microfluidic chip capable of separating a specific component from a minute amount of specimen without exerting a kinetic effect such as a centrifugal force from the outside and obtaining a state in which a specific amount of a specific component is filled in the measurement section in a short time, and a specimen concentration measuring device capable of efficiently measuring the concentration of the specific component of the specimen. The microfluidic chip according to the present invention includes a plate-like body having a first fluid passage, a second fluid passage, and a measurement section therein; the first fluid passage allows a liquid specimen to flow therethrough, and the second fluid passage path branch from the first fluid passage, has a width capable of separating the specific component from the specimen flowing through the first fluid passage and communicates with the first fluid passage; the measurement section is connected to the second fluid passage, and fills the specific component separated from the specimen, wherein at least a part of a space formed by the measurement section is formed by a wedge-shaped space in which a gap gradually decreases in one direction.
