Abstract:

To provide a simple and highly accurate microchip for a nucleic acid amplification reaction.

A microchip for a nucleic acid amplification reaction includes a well configured to function as a reaction site of the nucleic acid amplification reaction, in which at least one part of a substance necessary for the nucleic acid amplification reaction is anchored in a form that the substance is eccentrically-located less at the center portion and much at the marginal portion of the well, in advance. In the microchip for the nucleic acid amplification reaction, the nucleic acid amplification reaction can be started by introducing only a sample solution containing a nucleic acid chain to be amplified and remaining substances for the nucleic acid amplification reaction.
