Title:
MICROCOMPUTER LOADED WITH TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001160042
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To easily design a microcomputer in which the optima operating temperature range of a semiconductor chip is set, and to prevent the malfunction or runaway of the microcomputer even at high temperatures.

In this microcomputer on which a temperature sensor is loaded, a pair of circuit blocks 32 and 33 are provided with respective diodes 3 and 12 as temperature sensor so that the diodes are of opposite polarities, and this part of circuit blocks 32 and 33 are commonly provided with terminals 4 and 7 connected with both ends of the diodes 3 and 12 for supplying fixed currents If to both ends of the diodes 3 and 12 and terminals 5 and 6 connected with both ends of the diodes 3 and 12, so as to be closer to both ends of the diodes 3, 12 than the terminals 4 and 7 for reading a voltage Vf of the diodes 3 and 12.
