Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a computer operable in an emulation mode with internal and external peripheral devices.
CONSTITUTION: The computer is provided with a central processing unit 12, an internal address decoder 14, an internal memory and an internal peripheral device 16 which are connected to a data/address bus 20. The central processing unit 12 is provided with an input/output port for external access 22 in a user mode. The input/output port for external access 22 is connected with an external peripheral device 28 and an external address decoder 24, which outputs to the central processing unit 12 a signal CSI preventing the preload of an the internal address decoder 14 when the external peripheral device is selected in the emulation mode.
