Title:
MICROFILM IMAGE RETRIEVING READER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6155639
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To retrieve image frames exactly by reading marks, which are provided in accordance with individual image frames, with a photoelectric converting sensor to retrieve image frames.

CONSTITUTION: When an operator sets and inputs the number of a pictureframe to be retrieved on a microfilm F to a retrieval information input circuit 24 from an input keyboard (not shown in the figure), a film feeding signal is outputted to rotate a capstan roll 5 and a supply reel 1 (or 2), and the microfilm F is fed. Simultaneously, a one-dimensional image sensor 11 detects projected images of frame marks successively, and detection signals are inputted to a counter 25. The count signal of the counter 25 and the number of the set image frame are compared with each other by a comparing circuit 26; and when they coincide with each other, a signal is outputted to a brake control circuit 27, and the capstan roll 5 and the supply reel 1 (or 2) are stopped by the brake signal to stop feeding of the film F. The retrieval is terminated in this state, and picture reading is possible.
