A microfluid chip 1 includes a substrate 2; and side wall portions 31 and 32 which are made of a plurality of rod-shaped bodies 301...331, and 351...381 disposed in one line so as to contact with a side surface in a longitudinal direction without being bonded on the substrate 2. The side wall portions 31 and 32 are separately disposed on the substrate 2 so as to make width direction side surfaces 35 and 36 of the rod-shaped bodies 301...331, and 351...381 opposite to each other. A microchannel 10 is formed between the width direction side surfaces 35 and 36. At least a part of the plurality of rod-shaped bodies 301...331, and 351...381 is moved in the longitudinal direction to deform the shape of the microchannel 10.
