To reduce the number of parts and the cost of manufacture by maintaining the function of a bracket for mounting a motor to other structures, in addition to the function of securing the overall mechanical strength of the motor by housing each constituent part in the motor body of the micromotor.
A motor body 44 of a micromotor (in this example, stepping motor) which has a shaft (rotary shaft) 20 is composed of a cylinder 70 which maintains the overall mechanical strength of the motor by housing each constituent parts (not shown in the figure) of the motor, and a flat bracket part 71 which has holes 72a and 72b for mounting the motor to other structure. The motor body 44 is manufactured by curling a part of the board material made of stainless steel by roll or the like and is constituted of one part. Hereby, as compared with the conventional one where the bracket is a separate one from this motor body is assembled later by, for example, soldering or the like, the number of parts and the cost for manufacturing decrease.
