PURPOSE: To provide an immunological function activator, an analgesic agent, an antiabstinence agent and an animal medicine thereof administrable by any of oral, percutaneous administration and injection, lipopolysaccharides(LPSs) which are an active ingredient thereof and a bacterium capable of producing the LPSs.
CONSTITUTION: To objective three kinds of LPSs having the following physical properties is provided: (1) LPSI: 5,000±1,000 primary molecular weight [measured by the sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) method]; the number of phosphorus atoms: 2±1/molecular weight 5,000; the number of hexosamine: 9±1/molecular weight 5,000 and the number of 2-keto-3-deoxyoctonate (KDO): 24±1/ molecular weight 5,000; (2) LPS2: 6,500±2,500 primary molecular weight (measured by the SDS-PAGE method); the number of phosphorus atoms: 1-2/molecular weight 5,000; the number of hexosamine: 7±1/molecular weight 5,000 and the number of KDO: 1-2/molecular weight 5,000 and (3) LPS3: 6,500±2,500 primary molecular weight (measured by the SDS-PAGE method); the number of phosphorus atoms: 2±1/molecular weight 5,000; the number of hexosamine: 5±1/molecular weight 5,000 and the number of KDO: 2±1/molecular weight 5,000.
