The new microorganism having an ability to inactivate the plant virus and the method for inactivating the plant virus by using the same are provided. Also, the plant virus-controlling agent consisting of the microorganism, a protein-decomposing enzyme i.e. protease, an organic substrate, a porous substrate, a carbonized wood and/or alginate beads, and the method for controlling the plant virus by treating the seeds, leaves, roots and/or soil with the microorganism or a combination of the microorganism and the protease are provided.
