Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the microphone changeover device by which a microphone for a head set and a built-in microphone is automatically selected when one jack is shared with both the headset and an earphone.
CONSTITUTION: The changeover device is provided with a detection section 16 detecting electrically either of the headset 2 and the earphone 3 the plug by a plug inserted into a jack 9 shared with both a headset 2 and an earphone 3 and a changeover section 18 switching among a microphone line 12 of a radio equipment main body 1, a microphone line 15 of the jack 9 or a microphone line 14 to a built-in microphone 13, and the changeover section 18 has a function connecting the microphone line 12 of the radio equipment main body 1 to the microphone line 15 of the jack 9 when no plug is inserted into the jack 9 and is provided with a display section displaying the connecting state of the microphone line.
