Abstract:

To provide a microphone mode switching mechanism for switching sensitivity and directivity of a microphone of a recorder/reproducer or the like.

The microphone mode switching mechanism comprises the microphone section 30 moved between a housing position housed in a recorder/ reproducer body 2 and a protruding position protruded from the body 2 and housing a first microphone 8a having directivity therein and a second microphone 8b having no directivity, a switching mechanism 9 for switching the first microphone 8a and the second microphone 8b to switch he sensitivity of the first microphone 8a, an energizing member 33a for energizing the microphone section 30 in the direction of the protruding position, a locking member 51 for holding the section 30 energized to the protruding position by the member 33a at the housing position, and an unlocking mechanism for unlocking the section 30 of the state in which the section 30 is held at the housing position by the member 51 in response to switching of the mechanism 9.
