The microphone includes: a grip housing 2, and a microphone unit 3 supported at one end of the grip housing 2. An air chamber 10 is provided behind the microphone unit 3 in the grip housing 2. The air chamber 10 is filled with a plurality of elastic particles 13 having elasticity, and a plurality of particles are mechanically bonded to one another to the grip housing 2 such that gaps are formed therebetween.
