Abstract:

To achieve a micropump for liquid delivery to achieve the -TAS technology.

While a light absorber is adhered closely to the passage of a microchannel, which is filled with liquid, irradiated with optical beams to generate and grow singly air bubble in the microchannel, and to fix the formed single air bubble at a specific part in the passage, the micropump gives a nonsymmetrical temperature gradient to the interface, utilizes a Marangoni convection phenomenon that is generated, and transports the fluid in the microchannel.
