Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micropump including a simple structure having both "pump function" capable of transferring ultra-minimum amount of liquid and "valve function" capable of stopping a flow of liquid and opening or closing liquid flow.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a micropump comprising a plurality of main excitation stators; a tube arranged inside the excitation stators for transferring liquid; and a lead-screw shaped magnetic rotor arranged in the tube. The excitation stators have yokes and coils wound around the yokes and installed, the tube has, at the inner wall of a liquid discharging port of the tube, a tube side tapered part, the magnetic rotor has a magnetic rotor side tapered part that can be fitted to the tube side tapered part at the magnetic rotor end.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
