Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily grasp the positional relation between a sample and an illuminating region.SOLUTION: A microscope 1 includes: an illumination optical system 110 for illuminating a sample S from a first direction practically perpendicular to the optical axis of an objective lens 121 and forming a first illumination region in the sample S; and an imaging optical system 120 including the objective lens 121 and for imaging the sample S on the basis of the light generated from the first illumination region. The microscope 1 further includes: an illumination optical system 130 for illuminating the sample S from a second direction practically perpendicular to the optical axis of the objective lens 121; and an imaging optical system 140 including an objective lens 135 with an optical axis practically perpendicular to the optical axis of the objective lens 121 and for imaging the sample S on the basis of the light emitted from the illumination optical system 130.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
