PURPOSE: To obtain a light microwave absorbing heating body, having very high heating temperature and excellent strength and exothermic characteristics by making structure in which an inorganic fiber including metal and a ceramic fiber are mixed in the aggregate structure of an absorption exothermic powder.
CONSTITUTION: A microwave absorbing heating body material 1 made of a material in which an inorganic fiber 2 is mixed into the aggregate structure of an absorption exothermic powder is formed. The fibers are mixed into a solid boy in the form of single fibers or blended in a solid body in the structure of a plate-like or a mesh in the form of a fabric clothlikely woven or a non woven fabric. Material irrespective of metal quality or ceramic quality can be used as material for forming the solid body. The construction material of the inorganic fiber is metal quality, ceramic quality, or glass quality, etc. A fiber length having a mean length of 1mm or more is used by considering strength, heat resistance, and wettability with base material. This process can obtain a microwave absorbing heating body having excellent strength and exothermic characteristics.
