To provide a microwave band limiting filter which can be used under special environment such as a cosmic space, and can further achieve stable RF characteristics before and after welding, and to provide an artificial satellite equipped with the microwave band limiting filter, and a welding method of the microwave band limiting filter.
The microwave band limiting filter 1, which is for being loaded into the satellite, includes: a housing body 2 for having an opening part; a cover 3 which covers the opening part; and a housing pole 4 which is installed upright from the housing body 2 and whose tip part is welded with the cover 3. A through hole 31 corresponding to the housing pole 4 is formed in the cover 3, the housing pole 4 and the cover 3 are welded together at a state that the tip part of the housing pole 4 penetrates the through hole 31.
