Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave heating apparatus of a simple structure using no drive unit capable of locally collecting micro waves onto an object to be heated placed widely or at an arbitrarily place in a heating chamber and capable of efficiently heating the object.SOLUTION: A microwave heating apparatus 101 includes: plural first micro wave radiation sections 102 which are provided to a waveguide means 201 including an opening formed and disposed in a transmission direction 204 for radiating micro waves in a heating chamber 103; and an antenna 106 which is disposed being separated away from at least one of the first micro wave radiation sections 102 and which has a second micro wave radiation section 107 of an opening formed therein. The second micro wave radiation section 107 is formed with the opening center 208 oriented in a direction other than an electric field direction 507 of the waveguide means 201 from the opening center 208 of the first micro wave radiation section 102.
