To provide a heating device in which heat temperature at subject material can be directly controlled for achieving high-precision and effective heating.
A device is provided with a heating furnace 2, a conveyor 3 disposed at a bottom part of it to carry subject material 9, and an applicator 4 opened and disposed above the conveyor 3 in the heating furnace 2 to microwave-heat the subject material 9 to a processing temperature. The applicator 4 has an introducing tunnel part 41 for introducing the subject material 9 carried by the conveyor 3, and a discharge tunnel part 42 for discharging the heated subject material 9. A microwave shielding member 46 for preventing leak of microwaves is provided between an opening lower end part of the applicator 4 and the conveyor 3. To the applicator 4, a magnetron 61 for generating microwaves is connected.
