Abstract:
To provide a novel and useful microwave oven capable of carrying out disaster prevention of a heating chamber interior by detecting fire of a vessel or other objects housed in a heating chamber.
The microwave oven is provided with at least the heating chamber 2 heating a housed object B, a light emission detecting means 74 for detecting light emission of the object B housed in the heating chamber 2, and a disaster prevention means 75 for carrying out actions necessary for disaster prevention on the basis of light emission detection by the light emission detecting means 74.
