Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oven having a constant output independently of a load of a food.
SOLUTION: This microwave oven is provided with a waveguide formed of an input waveguide 71 connected to a magnetron so that an antenna of the magnetron is inserted through a power feeding port 71b and an output waveguide 72 having an upper and a lower radiation ports 72a, 72b in a wall surface of a cavity symmetrically in upper and lower and in right and left of the power feeding port 71b of the input waveguide 71. Position of an antenna (A-B) of the magnetron inside the output waveguide 72 is computed on the basis of a formula A-B=k.γg, where, A is a full length of the output waveguide, B is a distance from one side surface of the output waveguide to the antenna of the magnetron, k is a constant in a range 0.5≤k<0.7, γg is the wavelength inside the output waveguide.
