Title:
MICROWAVE OVEN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3434646
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effect the optimum hating in accordance with the temperature as well as the amount of a material to be heated and restrain the generation of variability of temperature of the material to be heated as much as possible by a method wherein heating by a magnetron is carried out in a time band from starting defrosting and cooking while alternate heating of the magnetron and a heater is carried out in a time band thereafter.
SOLUTION: Microwave, oscillated from a magnetron 7, is supplied into a heating chamber 2 to effect the microwave heating of a material A to be heated. The heating chamber 2 is provided with an upper heater 31, attached to a ceiling unit and comprising a plane heater, and a lower heater 32, attached to the outer bottom unit of the same chamber 2. Upon defrosting cooking, ventilation of the heating chamber 2, in which the frozen material A to be heated is placed, is effected by driving a ventilating fan 17. Thereafter, the magnetron 7 as well as a cooling fan 8 are excited and a turn table 3 is driven the start heating operation. Subsequently, the magnetron 7 as well as the upper and lower heaters 31, 32 are operated alternately and when the defrosting of the material A to be heated is finished, the heating operation is finished.
