To enable transmission in a repeating section by holding the transmission band within prescribed width and suppressing a delay quantity within a permissible range without exerting any influence of deterioration in the repeating section on a signal of a broadcasting wave.

To repeat and transmit broadcast information which is used for a ground digital broadcasting system prescribed by ISDB-T and consists of TS packets, a TMCC signal, and an AC signal from a musical performance place A to a broadcasting wave transmission place D with a microwave through repeating places B and C, the TS packets which are assigned to different layers are put together into one layer before the repeating transmission, layer information on the assignment of the TS packets is added to the TMCC signal to generate an OFDM signal for repeating with known transmission parameters, and the signal is converted into a microwave, which is repeated and transmitted. At the broadcasting wave transmission place D, the OFDM signal for repeating is received and demodulated to reconstitute a broadcasting wave OFDM signal.
