To provide a freshly poundedly, soft, flavorful and delicious rice cake by microwave heating in a short period of time without irregularly swelling the rice cake.
The rice cake is covered with shielding bodies 41 and 42 provided in a body part 11 and a lid part 12 of a rice cake cooking vessel and preventing the transmission of the microwave. The shielding bodies 41 and 42 are provided with transmission parts 2 transmitting the microwave. The transmission parts 2 of necessary opening area are distributedly provided in necessary parts of the shielding bodies for uniformly heating the rice cake. The insides of the body part 11 and the lid part 12 are formed with sticking prevention bodies 3 preventing the heated rice cake from sticking thereto. The microwave shielding bodies 41 and 42 prevent the irradiated microwave from irradiating on the rice cake and the transmission parts 2 allow the microwave to transmit and irradiate the rice case, so that the rice cake whole body can be softened in a short period of time for being taken as foods.
