Title:
MICROWAVE THERMAL DECOMPOSITION FURNACE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP07100831
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To thermally remove a plastic covered by a metal with the concurrent procedure to prevent the metal from becoming thermally deformed.

CONSTITUTION: A decomposition furnace 2 stores a plastic coat such as automotive steering wheel covered with polyurethane or a plastic containing polyurethane adhering to a metal through an additive. This furnace is equipped with a microwave oscillator 3 which thermally decomposes the plastic and the adhesive by irradiating the plastic coat 1 with a microwave. Consequently, it is possible to realize this concept into an actual device and at the same time, increase the processing capacity and make the operation easy.
