Title:
MIDSOLE STRUCTURE OF SPORTING SHOES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3215664
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure walking stability and cushion properties.
SOLUTION: A corrugated sheet 4 is interposed in the heel portion within a midsole 3 comprising a soft elastic member of a midsole structure of sporting shoes. The front end of this corrugated sheet 4 is extended from the middle foot part to the forefoot part in the midsole. A sheet 1 41 made of fiber reinforced plastic is mounted from the outer peripheral portion to the middle foot section in the heel section of the corrugated sheet 4. A meshed portion 42 is formed in the central part of the heel section. As a result, the lateral oscillation after landing may be prevented in the outer peripheral portion of the heel and the middle foot part having high compressive hardness. The walking stability may thus be assured. In addition, the impact at the time of landing may be absorbed in the central portion of the heel where the compressive hardness is low, by which the cushion properties may be assured.
