To provide a mildewproof device efficiently utilizing adsorbing capacity of an adsorbing material to maintain relative humidity in a bathroom to low humidity that can suppress the propagation of mold, with low input electric energy.

The mildewproof device comprises a rotating moisture adsorbing member, a first air blowing device forming a stream in a circulating line, a second air blowing device forming a stream in a delivery line, a heating device, a humidity detecting means, and a control device. The second air blowing device is disposed downstream of the moisture adsorbing member in the delivery line. After dehumidifying operation is performed, the heating device and the second air blowing device are stopped, while the operation of the first air blowing device is continued, and further dehumidification is performed utilizing the unsaturated state of moisture adsorbing capacity of the moisture adsorbing member.
