Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a milk composition reduced in mineral, especially sodium, potassium and citrate contents based on the natural components of milk. CONSTITUTION: A nonfat milk is concentrated three to six-fold by ultrafiltering or microfiltering, and a lactose weight nearly equal to the dried weight of a held liquid is added to the retained liquid to obtain the concentrated liquid mixture. Otherwise, this is dried.
