Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new manufacturing method of milk and milk-related products having a long shelf life.SOLUTION: The method for producing milk or milk-related products includes the steps of: a) supplying a milk derivative; b) physically separating microbes from the milk derivative so as to obtain a partially sterilized milk derivative; and c) exposing a first composition including the partially sterilized milk derivative to a high-temperature (HT) treatment, such that the first composition is heated to a temperature in the range of 140 to 180°C, kept at the temperature range for 200 msec at the longest, and subsequently subjected to final cooling.
